PreSonus has a new lineup of audio interfaces and microphones, aimed at a pretty wide audience. Online business meetings, content streaming and digital media creation are all everyday tasks in so many fields now. Adapting existing hardware has been clunky in a lot of cases. Interfaces traditionally designed to record music don’t always have the tools needed to do the job. Especially at the lower price points, where many new comers to digital audio are starting their journey.

The Revelator series however seem purpose built for modern communication. FAT Channel processing in the box, along with a software audio mixer lets you create multiple mixes very easily.

Dual Loop-back routing simplifies otherwise complex streaming setups and is absolutely necessary for certain types of content creation. It is awesome to see PreSonus focusing on this aspect of computer audio more. All too often even high end interfaces, with otherwise very capable software companion mixers, leave this feature out.

Without even mentioning the included Studio One Artists edition license and additional plugins that are bundled with the Revelator line-up, this model is a really solid value. If you’re on the go and need something bus-powered that can deliver phantom power and handle all of your mixing needs, this is going to be a hard deal to pass up. The Revelator Dynamic mic and interface is also a killer option for anyone looking to travel light.

Everyone has been asking for fully bus powered interfaces in recent years, and PreSonus are delivering in a big way with the Revelator series.
