Lectrosonics, Inc.

You hear them everyday, guaranteed.

There is not much gear that you really hear everyday. Even the gear you own and use all the time. There are days off where it doesn’t get used for lots of reasons. Perhaps weeks or more go by between uses for others. However, there are a few out there you simply cannot avoid.

I genuinely believe a typical person going about their day would have to make a real effort to get through that day without hearing audio from a Lectrosonics product. At one point or another, they would pass a television broadcasting the news, a hit Sitcom or newly released documentary. They’re all over TV & you’re certainly not getting away from them at the movies. Even Al Roker & The Butter Guy could be heard this during years Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, through Lectrosonics transmitters.

They’ve been doing it all seamlessly since 1971. So, surely this must be some huge global outfit, with corporate offices around the world. Would you believe they’re just over one hundred and fifty people working out of the Desert in Rio Rancho, New Mexico? A town only established ten years prior to Lectrosonics Inc.

Ask around and you’ll find out why they are trusted to be one of the premiere audio manufacturers who really do get it right. Karl Winkler has been incredibly generous with his time showing us new gear at trade shows as you’ll see below, and also in joining me on the podcast. Thanks Karl!
