The PreSonus R65 v2 is the latest update to the popular PreSonus R65 Air Motion Transformer studio monitors. We’ve had them for a few weeks to demo and this video shares what that experience has been like. As always we take them apart and show you what’s inside making them tick. There are big differences here from the version one model, and we get to the bottom of what’s changed and how they’ve gone about it.
Ultimately though, everyone wants to know how they sound. We’ll get into that too and talk about how they compare to some of your other realists options in the same price range at the moment. It’s an eternal debate in pro-audio gear. Do you buy new in your price range or try to find better performance on the used market? It can be risky buying used, and without experience you might not know what to look out for. Speakers and microphones especially can be daunting to shop for online, or without a warranty.
