Flow 8 Pre / Post Firmware v11749 Update
In this Flow 8 v11749 firmware update, Behringer has added a much-requested option for pre-fade or post-fade monitor sends to the mixer. If you’re not familiar with how aux sends work or why so many folks have been asking for this feature, check out the Aux Sends Basics video we did a few years back. Essentially, post-fade sends are useful in a whole range of situations though, including sending mixes to cameras, recorders, or streaming computers. Even if you have no idea how or why you’d use them now, the added flexibility is always nice to have on a small mixer.
You can find all the update packages on the Flow 8 Main Product Page, on the right-hand side under the Software drop-down menu. Remember, you need to install the latest Flow 8 USB Audio Driver first, then use the SimplyPUT tool to update the mixer, and finally, you will need to download the latest version of the control app to your device of choice.
