#Maker:

This week my good friend Trevor Higgins stopped by to share a project he has been working on for the past few months. Unhappy with the factory supplied solution for mounting a K-Array 402 on a typical speaker stand, Trevor set out to machine his own solution.

An accomplished Live Sound Engineer, Recording Engineer, Woodworker, Artist and Maker, Trevor has a unique combination of skills. Having done easily over a hundred gigs with him in the past 15 years, I have seen first hand, his ability to put those skills to use in finding unique solutions to everyday problems we encounter on the job.

When he’s not out on a job as a lead engineer with Potomac Sound, he’s typically in his Maryland based workshop and studio. Tackling maintenance & repairing audio gear that gets damaged on the job, building custom road cases and work-boxes for the company and developing custom hardware is his ‘day gig’ – after hours, the work turns to creating beautiful art, instruments, furniture and anything else that comes to mind.
