Karl Swanson (featured on the projects page here with his DIY Intercom Headset) is back at it again! This time he has a software based open source project for us, known as Micboard.io

An open source web app, Karl is looking to provide better engineer views and storage views for Shure RF devices. In Karl’s words,  “It’s basically a more visual, read-only workbench. My main install covers about 80 devices across a large church campus, but it scales down fairly well.  A $35 raspberry pi in the back of a rack of rental RF can easily support a few dozen devices.”

At micboard.io, you can find a link to a blog post about the project, and a link to download.  Check it out if you use a lot of Shure RF!

Massive thanks to Karl for sharing this incredible work with us & the entire pro audio community. I am only just getting to check it out now & will report back in the future as I get to use it in the field. Let us know if you have tried it, and be sure to report back if you try it out in the future!
