We’ve got the freshly announced Behringer Flow 8 Bluetooth controlled digital mixer in for a very early first look this week. This one is an eight channel mixer and interface that is controlled almost entirely by it’s accompanying FLOW APP. A new approach to desktop mixers for sure, and powered by micro-USB, a great option for mobile users traveling light. Podcasts, vlogs or performers on the go, this one is packed full of features to get the job done.

Following the Flow

In video #198 we took a second look at the Flow 8 to answer some of your top questions. You had some great suggestions and ideas for features, which were all shared from the comments with the Flow development team. Check out the ‘Second Look’ video below & stay tuned for an update coming very soon to show off the new firmware I’ve been Beta testing in 2021.

Have you seen the Behringer WING series from earlier this year? The FLOW 8 doesn’t have a ton in common with the Wing, but you should feel right at home if you are used to using the other Behringer mixer apps. There are so many different mixer options now from Behringer, do you think the FLOW is a good addition to their current lineup? Let me know what you think.

    Thanks for the questions.
    1. You’ll need the ability to download an app to either an iOS or android device. If you’ve been banned from all ways to do that, you will absolutely have issues with any app controlled hardware. This is not unique to the Flow.
    2. no, not at this time.
    3. I do not believe so, but have not tested with Linux personally. I’ll try to add this to an upcoming video for you.
    4. In the firmware I tested in this video you have 10 channels of USB interface to the recording device. Tracks 1-8 + L/R – there is a new firmware that I have not installed yet that changes a few things around with the USB routing, so look out for details on that in an upcoming video too.

Thanks for the questions, I’ll keep them in mind for the next update video with the new firmware.
    All the best.

  2. It’s an audio interface, and what you described is how audio interfaces work! 🙂

  3. In addition to playing live and broadcasting over the internet, I would like to be able to record it in Cubase, resaper, etc. You know if for example I put the voice on channel 1, guitar channel 2, drum machine channel 3, ambient micro channel 4, each channel would be recorded on a different track in cubase, reaper, etc. I mean channel 1 track1, channel2 track 2, channel 3 track 3 channel 4 track 4, I think so but I could confirm it thanks.

  4. What is the price on Pakistan and where the shop on
    On purchase
