#127 - Speaker Showcase Recording Rig with Robert Harker

We’re back at The NAMM show with viewer Robert Harker to take a quick look at his experimental recording kit. His goal is to capture audio and video of the Live Sound International Speaker Showcase, while moving through the coverage pattern of the speakers as they are demonstrated. He went about this by putting together a monopod rig that held all of his gear and allowed him to move freely and point the camera and microphone consistently over the course of some very long days of demonstrations. The showcase ran for three days, with many rounds of listening, side by side comparisons and time for the individual manufactures to demo both their larger format flown systems as well as ground stacked and more portable offerings in their line.

I know I’m curious to see just how this all translates through YouTube.
