#110 – Beyerdynamic Aventho Tesla Bluetooth Headphone Review

In recent videos, we’ve taken a look at a couple of other sets of luxury headphones from Beyerdynamic. While we don’t typically look at non-professional audio gear here on the channel, Beyerdynamic is a small company that’s been doing consistent work since 1924. I’ve always had great success with their pro headphones and microphones, so why not see what else they are up to.

While we looked at the wired version of the Aventho back in video #94 this bluetooth version has more in common with the Amiron bluetooth headphones from video #101. Featuring Beyerdynamic’s Tesla driver, these are the perfect lightweight on-the-go counterpart to the massively luxurious Amiron headphones. Downloading the MIY app from either the Apple or Google app stores is simple and allows you to take a brief hearing evaluation, culminating in a custom listening profile you load into the headphones for a more personalized experience.

I like these headphones a lot, and for the money I would certainly suggest the wireless version over the wired. While the wired Aventho were perfectly pleasant headphones to use, the dual cable they used, along with the price of the bluetooth version dropping in price steadily as months go by, I’d have a difficult time recommending them over this far more capable and single cabled option. If you’ve got any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you!
