Giveaway Time

In this video we’re taking a second look at the Neutrik Dante DPRO & DLINE Dante interfaces. We’re checking out some more features, talking about some updates and announcing an awesome giveaway.

DLINE differences

The DPRO & DLINE are a both rugged 2×2 Dante audio network interfaces. The DLINE features Audinate’s Ultimo chip and proved two line inputs and two line outputs on locking XLR connectors. A single Ethercon connector is provided for networking and power of ethernet. However, the DPRO is a bit of a different beast.

The addition of a second Ethercon means network i/O is on the back panel for space. This is a great addition, making both pass through or redundant networks are possible. Above all, the DPRO offers mic inputs as well as AES in and out to the party. The DPRO is incredibly smart. It can auto detect what has been plugged in when a source is connected. Third party control integration for QSYS & Yamaha QL/CL consoles is also now available.

However you plan to use them, Neutrik offers plenty of mounting options. Rack them, hang them or toss them out on stage like a like a drop snake. In short, they are as flexible as anything else on offer from Neutrik. That is to say, they are intended for a wide range of applications in an even wider range of industries.

Thanks to Neutrik for providing these units for this video and the giveaway!

thanks for the help!

Big thanks to the Neutrik team for pointing out the potential confusion I created in the first video about these units. Video #188 was the first look with these units, as well as the PoE supply and some of the mounting options. If you have any questions about any of the gear we looked at from Neutrik, please do send them into info@dcsoundop.com and we’ll get answer from Neutrik and include them in a future video for everyone too.

We’ll have more with these interfaces in the future for sure, just needed to get the giveaway announcement out this week! Check out the data sheets

The little recorder from the video was the Lectrosonics PDR. The MTCR Recorder replaced it as the current model recently. I use them to record almost all of the videos on the channel.
